We provide structured Islamic learning for boys and girls aged 6 -12 during both weekdays and Weekends, we use Safar Academy Curriculum

REGISTRATION / SETTING UP PAYMENT:

Enrolment Step by Step:

    1. Once we receive the application, we will acknowledge your application by email.
    2. We will contact you with a second email once we find the place in the class based on the age of your child. In that email we will invite your child for a brief meeting with the teacher.
    3. Once teachers assess your child, we will confirm the enrolment and invite you to start the madrasa Insha’ Allah.
    4. Set up direct debit payment using the link below:

    5. We will contact you once we find the place in the class based on the age of your child.
    6. We have a limited number of places. If there is no place available, we will put your child on the waiting list.

  • All classes will take place in KICC Musallah at Molison way.

ACADEMIC TERMS:

  • Our academic year is divided into three terms with each term being approximately four months including holidays.
  • We follow the same academic year structure as regular schools.
  • The dates follow the academic terms of regular schools as defined by Harrow Council.
  • The exact dates of the madrasah are published and regularly updated on Madrasah parent WhatsApp group.

FEES STRUCTURE:

  1. Fees is calculated and charged on an annual basis, which is £360 per annum currently plus £25 one off registration fee to cover start pack of books that we give when your child joins.
  2. We have simplified the payment to distribute the cost by paying the fees by monthly instalments with direct debit using GoCardless.
  3. Note that the fee is only payable by direct debit. Please fill the online form:

  4. Payment by cash or card is normally not accepted. It may be allowed only in exceptional circumstances. If you need to make a special arrangement for paying by cash or card kindly contact us by email to [email protected].

Madrasah Holiday:

Madrasa will be closed during the following holiday period (our annual fee has been set after considering the holiday period below, therefore regular monthly payments should continue during the below holiday period)

COURSE BOOKS:

We provide a set of books when your child joins as starter pack (Against the registration fee of £25), when children progress to next level further books should be bought by you using the link below from Safar Academy online store or speak to the teachers to guide you on this.

Payment for the Books:

Starter pack will be covered within registration fee of £25 that we charge, when children progress to upper level, if they need to buy any book please follow the above link to buy books, but in case if you buy from our madrasah (subject to availability) then all students have to pay for the cost of the course books by bank transfer to KICC bank account or pay by cash to teacher , when pay by bank transfer please put the reference as “Books-First name”

Dropping and Picking:

Due to Health and Safety reason of your own child, parents are kindly requested to drop on time (Not earlier than 5 minutes of starting time) your children inside KICC Learning Centre using the front entrance of “Kingsbury Islamic Learning Centre”, Also please pick on time when finished as Teacher needs to close the centre and leave immediately after finishing time.

Parking:

As you all know that there is no parking facility at the KICC Learning Centre, please find an appropriate roadside parking at the Mollison Way Shop Parade or Side Roads without blocking the local road in front of the Learning Centre or driveways of residents surrounding area walk to Musallah to drop your child.

Gathering in front of the main Entrance of Learning Centre:

Parents are kindly requested to avoid having group discussions/conversation in front of the main entrance (of the KICC Learning Centre) to avoid any issue with neighbouring occupiers or other sources.

Any Query/ to discuss about your child:

if there is anything that you would like to discuss with the teacher about you child/madrasa, please contact the teacher with a prior appointment to avoid interrupting the Class time, if you still need to discuss with management please contact us by email [email protected] , so that we can arrange a meeting with our management team.

Classroom Discipline for Children:

  • Weekday madrasah starts at 5:30pm, Weekend Madrasah starts at 3:00pm, so students should arrive on time for the class.
  • Late arrival – If your child can’t make it to the madrasah on time due to any valid reason and going to be late, please keep the teachers informed via whatsup group, if your child comes after 1 hour of the start time of the madrasa, then teachers have the right to send back your child without taking into the class unless exceptional
    circumstances and already updated to the teacher about the delay via whatsup group.
  • We expected the students to wear dress code teachers described which is according to Islamic guidelines of personal modesty.
  • Students should come into and leave the class with etiquette and without shouting/behaving inappropriately.
  • Students should attend all lessons. If a student cannot attend or missed a lesson, then parents either update in the parent WhatsApp group or send a written note which is signed should be given to the teacher.
  • Students must respect every other student in the class. Bullying will not be tolerated. If the teachers find any disciplinary issues with any child, we will investigate the circumstance and take appropriate disciplinary action including to remove your child from madrasah.
  • Students must respect the teacher and not talk while he is teaching.
  • Students must bring the necessary books and equipment, ready for the lesson.
  • No food or drink can be consumed during the class. Only water can be drunk.
  • Not allowed to eat chewing gum inside the Centre.
  • Students must not damage the class/prayer room equipment, not to use sound system Speakers or other electrical equipment in the class or other parts of the building, also should not litter the class and avoid writing on the walls /furniture.
  • Toilet/Wudu area – Students must use the facilities appropriately and after use it must be left clean and tidy, suitable for others’ use.
  • No mobile phones are allowed inside class.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the class without permission from theteacher.

Removing/Stopping your child from madrasah:

In case if you decide to remove/stop your child from continuing KICC Madrasah, please write to us to [email protected] with one month notice, so that we can confirm and update the teachers & admin records, so that we can ensure to stop your fee accordingly, if you fail to do this you are still due for the regular fee.
